InnoTrans 2024
From September 24 to 27, InnoTrans 2024, the world’s premier international trade fair for transport technology, will be held in Berlin, Germany. As a prominent industry leader, we are excited to present our latest solutions, products, and technological advancements in the transport sector.
Highlights
AUTBUS
The new AUTBUS data bus technology, standardised by the IEC, offers a simple, cost-effective and cable-reducing installation solution through multi-drop data networking of end devices, with maximum availability ensured by ring redundancy. AUTBUS represents an alternative solution for communication technology in demanding environments.
AUTBUS data technology, based on 2-wire twisted pair data cables, supports up to 254 multidrop device connections with a data bandwidth of 100 Mbps and a maximum cable length of 500m. Another key feature is the multi-protocol capability for transparent (tunneling) transmission of data protocols such as Ethernet-based protocols or CAN bus.
AUTBUS is a perfect solution for communication technology in demanding environments such as railway applications. It also supports real-time condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, reducing downtime and maintenance costs as well as total cabling while extending the life of rail assets. This integration leads to improved safety, reliability and operational efficiency, making AUTBUS a key technology for modernizing rail systems.
Aquam Series
Kyland's Aquam series offers a range of ruggedized, EN50155-certified Ethernet switches designed for the rail and transportation industry. Built to withstand harsh environments, these switches feature IP65 protection, durable aluminum casings, and high resistance to vibration and shock. With options for both managed and unmanaged models, they support rail-specific functions like TTDP, R-NAT, and redundancy protocols, making them ideal for maintaining reliable network communications in rail applications.
Key features of the Aquam series include support for various Ring technologies, compliance with PoE/PoE+ standards, and wide-ranging power inputs suitable for onboard devices. These switches are also compliant with key rail industry standards, ensuring their reliability and performance in demanding rail environments.
ITxPT Demo
Products with the ITxPT standard simplify public transport systems by using a common communication backbone. This eliminates system silos, reduces maintenance costs, and enhances passenger comfort by optimizing device placement, making the entire onboard system more efficient and user-friendly.
We look forward to seeing you at InnoTrans 2024, Hall 4.1 #405.
